An 18 year-old woman accused of helping the man charged with the murder of Christchurch teenager Hayden Miles to evade police was back in court today.
A judge this morning continued a name suppression order on the advice of a medical report.
The unemployed woman is charged with knowing that Gavin Gosnell murdered the 15-year-old and actively suppressed evidence against him.
Police say she helped 27-year-old Gosnell avoid arrest on August 23, last year - the day after Hayden was allegedly killed.
At a Christchurch District Court session at Nga Hau e Wha marae this morning, she faced other unrelated charges, including two of shoplifting, two drug-related charges, burglary, being found unlawfully in a yard, a breach of bail, and breach of community work.
