New charges, including a second attempted murder count, have today been laid against alleged Ashburton Work and Income double killer Russell John Tully.
Homeless man Tully, 48, has already been charged with murdering Work and Income front counter workers Peggy Noble, 67, and Leigh Cleveland, 55, on September 1.
He is also accused of attempting to murder a third worker, Lindy Louise Curtis, 43, who was shot in the leg and badly injured.
Tully was arrested seven hours after the shooting.
Today in the High Court at Christchurch, Crown prosecutor Andrew McRae laid new charges including a charge of attempting to murder Kim Elizabeth Adams.
