The man accused of killing two women at Ashburton's Work and Income office last year appeared via video link at the Christchurch District Court this morning.
Russell John Tully, 48, faces eight charges in relation to the shooting, including the murder of Peggy Noble and Leigh Cleveland as well as the attempted murder of Lindy Curtis and Kim Adams.
All details of today's appearance were heavily suppressed.
A provisional trial date is set for three weeks' time.
