Two people caught up in legal action by Winston Peters in connection with leaked details of his superannuation have labelled the move a fishing expedition, with another denying any wrongdoing.
The trio are among nine people who Peters' lawyers are today serving papers on.
The Deputy Prime Minister's lawyers claim his privacy was breached when details of Peters' superannuation overpayment were leaked to media during the election campaign.
He will be seeking damages from those served with the papers.
National's former campaign press secretary Clark Hennessy has denied any involvement in the leak.
