KEY POINTS:
New Zealand First leader Winston Peters and National MP Bob Clarkson are at loggerheads again.
The two men have had a lead than cordial relationship since Mr Peters lost his Tauranga seat to Mr Clarkson at the last election.
Now Mr Peters has resurrected his accusation that the National MP broke limits at the 2005 election. That is an argument he has already lost in a High Court case.
Mr Clarkson has responded by alleging Mr Peters got his campaign funding from Western Bay Finance, raising the hackles of the New Zealand First leader. Mr Peters is now challenging his opponent to make the statement outside the protection of Parliamentary privilege and says if he does he will sue.
