6. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotional Period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
7. Promotion will finish at 5pm on Monday, November 23, 2015 ("Promotional Period").
8. The winners will be notified by telephone or email. If the winner is unable to be contacted by 5pm on the Wednesday following the announcement, a new winner will be drawn.
9. Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a ride on the float, his or her details (including name, suburb/town) may be published by the promoters for publicity purposes.
10. Each of the winners will 'win' two spots on the Herald Santa Parade float - one (1) for them, and one (1) for a friend of their choosing. The chosen friend must also be between the ages of 7 and 12 years.
11. Each of the winners riding on the float will receive a specially designed t-shirt that they will get to keep after the Santa Parade.
12. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken for cash.
14. The New Zealand Herald is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the Competition and prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
