Efforts are being made to open up the Government's leaky homes support package to apartment owners.
Currently the package, which would see the Government and local councils offer 25 per cent each towards repair costs for affected homes, only applies to houses.
Labour MP Phil Twyford believes that's unfair given a large number of people affected by leaky homes are apartment owners.
With Parliament today debating legislation enabling the support package, Mr Twyford says he'll seek to get it amended so it's made available to apartment owners.
