Rivalries for a family dressed in fur came to the fore at the Royal Easter Show yesterday as Persian Blublu managed to win favour from two judges as best longhair entire cat, while brother Hershey garnered the vote of just one judge.
The brothers will have to wait to see how they fare until next week as the votes of five judges will decide the overall winner.
Two-year-old Blublu, short for Helenca Blue Heaven Is A Place On Earth, resides on Auckland's North Shore while Hershey, whose real name is Helenca Hershey's Kisses, hails from Ngaruawahia.
