Were you one of the people who applied for this job and wondered who got it?
Job: Marketing and communications manager.
For: Sky Alpine Queenstown Casino.
Mischa Mannix has worked at the Dunedin casino for the past year and a half - and when the chance came to play a similar role in Queenstown, she grabbed the opportunity.
The attraction?
"It was the company," she says.
"Sky City is so dynamic and so progressive."
And she loves Queenstown, although until now it has always been a holiday destination for her.
Mosgiel-born Mannix has a University of Otago degree in physical education and a teaching diploma.
She has, she says, lived right around the South Island.
"Coming to Queenstown," she says, "I've still got the Otago local knowledge."
She will be working with inbound and wholesale tourism businesses and marketing the casino as an entertainment venue to people in Queenstown, other regions and nationally, and supporting the other tourism operators there.
The casino, Mannix maintains, is complementary to all the other day activities, not competitive.
But it is the contact with people which she loved most about her last job and which is such a strong attraction in her new post.
"There are so many different people, particularly in the PR and marketing side," she says.
"You are dealing with a variety of people, from Joe Average who loves the casino to those who come to the casino specifically for gaming."
