Donna Wright. Chief information officer, Coca-Cola Amatil.
It was her desire to work at senior management level, together with what she knew of the culture within Coca-Cola, that encouraged Donna Wright to apply for the job of CIO.
"Just 10 days into the job my expectations of this company as being a good employer have been reaffirmed," said Wright.
"The company's reputation is good and it's a great brand. The people here are very positive."
Before joining the company she worked for Air New Zealand as manager, corporate solutions. Her job involved the project management of business solutions. Other work at Air New Zealand included helping to provide the tools for online distribution, marketing and loyalty focus schemes.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in computer science, and an MBA.
Her position at Coca-Cola, where she leads a team of 10 people, is to manage the company's IT resources, such as the technical infrastructure, phone network, data network, PC and desktop solutions and critical business applications, such as sales and ordering systems and supply chain solutions.
"Some business applications we use come from our Australian arm, but we also have local applications that my team will look after."
Monthly visits to the company's offices in Sydney will be a regular feature of the job.
"The team here will work closely with the IT team in Australia to make sure we are leveraging opportunities [to share knowledge], but there are also market specific requirements in New Zealand that we will be working on."
