Job title: Supply planning manager, Cadbury.
Manuela Koenig, 30, has had a hand in every Cadbury lolly you eat - Pineapple Lumps, Jaffas, Minties and all the other things Kiwis crave when they're away from home.
She's responsible for purchasing, products and planning - making sure all the ingredients for making Cadbury sweets, from sugar to packaging materials, make it to the company's Avondale plant.
"This is probably going to sound cheesy," she admits, "but I always wanted to work for Cadbury - they've got a good name for being innovative."
It's a complex job requiring swift changes, she says: "You have to react to things quickly.
"We're constantly changing designs, packaging, looking at shelf life ... looking at all these different options."
Koenig, who is German-born but has been in Auckland for 11 years, has a diploma in management and is halfway through a logistics and computer systems-focused specialist qualification in her field.
On her CV are planning and/or purchasing roles with laminate manufacturers Formica, Bluebird Foods, and hose-makers Dunlop Flow Technology.
And yes, Koenig admits she loves chocolate, though the Cadbury brand is made at a safe distance away in the company's Dunedin plant.
"And that's a good thing," she laughs.
"Otherwise I probably wouldn't fit through the door frame after a year."
