An email that purports to show Prime Minister John Key was involved in a plan to get internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom into NZ so he could then be extradited to the US has been released to the public.
If real the email is contrary to every assurance the Prime Minister has ever given about his knowledge of Dotcom.
The source of the email is shrouded in mystery and there are already arguments over its authenticity. Paul McGuire, Warner Bros senior vice president for worldwide communications, says the email is a fake.
Debate on this article is now closed. The final totals out of 1000 published emails were:
John Key 325
Kim Dotcom 675
