White supremacists are being blamed for late-night vandalism on a Central Otago police station and patrol cars.
Cromwell Sergeant Steve Ereckson said two vehicles were tagged some time on Tuesday night, one a marked police car, the other unmarked.
The word "pigs", the letters "KKK" and the swastika symbol were
drawn on the cars.
A rhyme was also written on the back door of the police station.
Mr Ereckson said it was threatening, and police were not willing to disclose its contents yet.
Another Cromwell property was vandalised in a similar fashion last night.
