Whitcoulls bans mag

Bookseller Whitcoulls is reported to have withdrawn gay magazine Jack from its shelves because of an Aids Foundation advertisement containing an erect penis with a condom.

Publisher Julian Haldane told GayNZ.com the image had been checked with the Office of Film and Literature Classification and the magazine was wrapped in plastic, with a warning it contained nudity.
