Heavy suppressions surround the case of a man accused of trying to snatch a 3-year-old girl off the street in Whitby.
The 32-year-old's appearance in the Porirua District Court was excused again today.
He's been charged with two counts of assault and one of kidnapping.
A public meeting is being held at Adventure School at 6.15pm today for members of the community to express their concerns and work on a way forward together, organisers said.
