A woman who claimed she was robbed after being tipped out of her wheelchair in Dunedin has been charged with making a false complaint.
The 51-year-old Timaru woman earlier this week said two men knocked her out of her chair and stole her wallet on Princes St in the city.
Police said she has withdrawn her complaint, and is expected to appear in the Dunedin District Court today charged with making a false complaint of robbery.
