What goes up comes down for Mobil

Mobil boosted petrol by 3c and diesel by 2c yesterday, but dropped the prices again about three hours later as competitors held steady.

Mobil spokesman Peter Thornbury said the price rise was due to market shifts, but it was retracted when other petrol companies did not follow suit.
