- What do you think of the police 'child abuse' visit?
The home of a senior Herald journalist was recently paid a visit by three police officers who claimed they were responding to a tip-off from a neighbour regarding possible child abuse.

The journalist involved, Karyn Scherer, says she can only assume a child's tantrum around bath time prompted the 111 call.
