Amazon.com has released its list of the 100 best books of 2007.
The list was picked by the editors of the popular American consumer website and has been an annual tradition for the past eight years. Heading the list is A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, author of The Kite Runner.
The top five were:
