A 55-year-old Whangarei woman who was killed in a crash in south Taranaki yesterday afternoon has been named by police.
Shauna Leitch died when her eastbound Nissan sedan and a westbound Mazda hatchback collided about 3km east of Waitotara about 12.30pm.
A crash investigation is continuing and police say they are conducting inquiries to establish how the crash occurred.
Police would like want to speak to anyone who saw the two vehicles involved about the time of the crash.
