Whangarei resort begun

Construction of a four-storey luxury resort has begun at Tutukaka, 29km northeast of Whangarei, even though the development lacks a consent for the sewerage scheme linked to it.

A decision has yet to be made on whether the public will have a say on the application for a sewerage scheme.
