Wet Wet Wet's Pellow a hero

Wet Wet Wet star Marti Pellow saved the life of his girlfriend's sister after she nearly suffocated from a deadly nut allergy.

The singer injected Claire Catterson with a shot of adrenaline as her throat closed up and she gasped for breath.

The actress, whose model sister Eileen is Pellow's long-term partner, said she owed her life to the pop star's quick thinking.

Catterson collapsed while sharing a Chinese meal with the couple at her sister's London flat after seeing a West End play.
