Wet weather set to continue

There is no end in sight to the wet weather over the Coromandel Peninsula and Bay of Plenty.

Further heavy falls are expected as the day wears on and another frontal band sweeps through the region.

The wet weather could last until 3am tomorrow, with up to 100 millimetres of rain expected in some places.
