West Aucklanders will have their main route to the city centre closed for much of the weekend to allow a bridge to be demolished over the Northwestern Motorway, starting at 10pm tomorrow.
The Transport Agency is preparing to close the motorway's citybound lanes from Brigham Creek Rd to Henderson and its westbound carriageway between Te Atatu and Henderson for up to 38 hours until noon on Sunday.
