Wenderholm Regional Park to be extended

Wenderholm Regional Park north of Auckland is to be expanded by the purchase of 34ha of land from the neighbouring Schischka family.

Alma Schischka, 78, said the land beside the Puhoi River, north of Orewa, was all that remained of the farm established by the family in 1883.
