A spoof news bulletin has appeared on YouTube in which the Wellywood sign is blown up.
The video, which is described as a "news report on local TV yesterday in New Zealand", covers the secret overnight installation of the controversial Wellywood sign in the capital.
During the bulletin, the Wellywood sign suffers a fate many Wellingtonians may appreciate.
