Police say they are not treating the death of woman, whose body was found in her Wellington home yesterday, as suspicious.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Miller said police were investigating the death of the woman, at her Nevay Rd home in Miramar, on behalf of the coroner.
"Our inquiries and the post-mortem have not been completed but at this time the death is not being treated as suspicious."
The Dominion Post reported that the deceased woman was Irish-born Margo McAuley, a Tommy's real estate agent who moved to New Zealand in the mid-1990s.
Ms McAuley's image was known through Wellington from billboards featuring her image and typically making use of her Irish heritage, with slogans like "Another great Irish export" and "A touch of the Blarney".
