Aside from fog-affected flights in the capital, transport in Wellington is running as normal.
Cyclone Cook's wrath has yet to hit the city, and until then most commuter services are running business as usual.
Due to fog, some flights are being diverted from Wellington Airport and some departures are being cancelled, but this depends on varying visibility.
Airport spokesman Greg Thomas said the low cloud affecting flights has been coming and going.
There would be periods of half an hour in which flights would be diverted and cancelled, and then another half hour when fog would clear enough for flights to land and depart, he said.
