A house fire in Wellington today is being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to a house in Strathmore Ave, Strathmore Park at 1.15pm.
It was now extinguished but firefighters were still at the scene dampening down hot spots, central fire communications shift manager Murray Dunbar said.
There were no reports of injuries and no damage to neighbouring houses, but it was deemed suspicious, he said.
Fire Service fire investigators would be investigating the cause of the blaze.
