A 12-year-old girl reported missing in Wellington on Friday has been found safe and well.
Jayda Harris left her home in Naenae Rd, Naenae, about midday yesterday and hadn't been seen since.
But police confirmed tonight she had been found at a Naeanae address.
She has been reunited with relieved family members and Wellington police thanked members of the public for their assistance "as information provided directly helped us in locating her".
Police and Jayda's family and friends had earlier been concerned about where she was and had appealed for anyone who may have seen her since yesterday afternoon, or who knows where she was, to come forward.
