Wellington Airport re-opened after fog

Fog again closed Wellington Airport this morning.

But the airport was re-opened mid-morning when the weather lifted.

Check-ins had been suspended and two inbound planes had been unable to land.

Duty manager Shirley Atherfold earlier said they were unsure how long the disruptions would last, but she was hopeful the fog would clear soon.
