Passengers and staff at Wellington Airport are back inside the terminal after an emergency evacuation this morning.
Airport operations were briefly suspended after people were evacuated from the main terminal building due to a suspected fire.
A short time later Wellington Airport tweeted the emergency was over and everyone had been allowed back in the terminal.
Fire and Emergency said the incident was a false alarm.
