A solid set of results for the Rams JAB this weekend with the match of the round coming in the under-9 game. The under-9 team had not won a game all season and at half time they were 25-5 down to an in-form Featherston unit. But after the break the Rams team put in the game of their lives as they came from behind to score an absorbing 30-all draw.
In the under-13 grade, Rams Black scored another impressive win over Carterton to remain unbeaten and the White team went down to East Coast.
The under-11s played a close match against Marist in which Marist won by four points. In the under-10 grade, the Rams Black team chalked up another win to remain unbeaten and the White team played a seesaw match with Gladstone resulting in a win to Gladstone by one try.
The under-8s were the most improved Rams team with the Whites recording two wins, the Blacks had with another victory while the Grey team suffered a loss. The two under-6s teams recorded three wins and a loss to continue their fine form.
Rams Player of the Week: Rilee Scott, from the under 9s, was in devastating form with several side-stepping runs resulting in two tries and he used his speed to stop many likely tries.
