More foul weather is heading our way this Sunday, but conditions are not expected to get as wild last week.
Weatherwatch.co.nz says another low is expected to move in from the Tasman Sea, and although it is large it is not expected to be powerful.
Saturday is likely to be mostly dry around New Zealand, although clouds will move in on the West Coast later in the day.
On Sunday, the main front will slowly move across the North Island, although it may not arrive in the Far North until early Monday.
The low, which is connected to the weather pattern which has flooded parts of eastern Australia, may trigger a few thunderstorms as pulls down warm sub-tropical air over northern New Zealand and sucks up cooler south westerlies behind it.
