Hereworth School has a busy and energetic boarding house for our boys aged 8-13. The boarding house is operational 7 days per week during school terms.
We are looking to appoint a weekend boarding manager who will care for the boarders from Friday evening until Sunday evening- this is a 'live in' position for both nights. The boarding house is an integral part of our whole school and this position is all about the pastoral care of the boys.
The successful applicant will need to be well organised and responsible, have strong interpersonal skills, be computer literate and have a good sense of humour to effectively engage with boys in the 8 to 13 year age group. Other responsibilities will be to maintain a safe and supportive environment for the boys. Ideally you will have previous experience in boarding or working with children.
