POP GOES THE WEASEL
The new season of this chaotic Jacqui Brown-hosted musical game show is devoted to transtasman battles.
The Kiwis are headed by comedian Dai Henwood, while the Aussies are led by the Doctor (a breakfast host on the Triple J radio network and a member of Frenzal Rhomb).
Each week the captains are joined by a musician from their respective countries. Local musos to feature include Anika Moa, Chris Knox and Mareko, while the Aussies will have members of groups like the Living End, Spiderbait and the Cruel Sea.
They'll face challenges such as Samurai Demolition, where contestants must guess which destroyed instrument lies in front of them, and the popular hidden camera round, Groupies, where contestants must guess what happens next when a musician and a fan start interacting.
Tonight's guests are Mikey Carpinter from Autozamm and Ben Ely from Regurgitator.
