New Zealand’s weather is mostly being split in two for the next few days as a low stalls over the North Island and a high moves in over the South. Cloud and rain will affect the eastern North Island with some heavy falls. Meanwhile in the South Island frosty conditions will remain under a ridge of high pressure. By Sunday a southerly change should spread up across the entire country.
