Saturday was humid and Sunday was thundery – but the week ahead looks calmer for most regions thanks to higher air pressure. Humidity levels may start to creep back up again this week north of Waikato and BOP while a couple more colder changes are expected in the South Island – which might spark one or two heavy showers.
