WeatherWatch: (DEC 6) Strong winds return

A belt of strong winds will again affect our Saturday was possible gales returning to Wellington on Saturday afternoon. Showers will also spread into the west coast of New Zealand turning to rain the further south you go. Winds will be strongest in the east – so eastern NZ can expect high temperatures. But a southerly change is moving in to the deep south with temperatures dropping on Sunday as the change moves north up the South Island. Next week is looking mostly dry for the North Island.
