From farmwear to high fashion, the many ways to wear wool were modelled at the Shear Fashion show on Thursday night.
More than 350 attended the show highlighting the versatile use of wool in fashion at War Memorial Stadium. It was part of Shear Fest, a new festival to celebrate the Golden Shears.
"They were queuing at the door to come in which was great," said organiser Robyn Cherry-Campbell.
She said the evening was successful despite the show starting half an hour later because the Shears ran an hour late.
"The team worked really, really hard backstage," she said.
