The show started with babywear and went through to men's and women's fashion - from the farm to haute couture.
Mrs Cherry-Campbell said the garments were beautiful, and the entries in the secondary school section Bling your Sing - a twist on the classic black singlet - were great.
She said the emerging designers section also went well.
"They're all pretty much local Wairarapa designers."
She said the feedback from the crowd had been positive.
"They were all saying 'fantastic, it's great'. They're looking forward to next year," she said. "The audience just loved it."
Mrs Cherry-Campbell said organisers were looking forward to holding the show again.
"We've already got ideas for what we can do next year and how we can improve," she said.
