October is Breast Cancer awareness month. Look out for specially branded products and active events raising money for the cause.

1. Enjoy the longer evenings and raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation in The Pink Star Walk, Saturday, October 11, 6pm, at Auckland Domain. To register see pinkstarwalk.co.nz.

2. Show your support by wearing the jewelled pin, $39, from Estee Lauder counters - the blue jewel signifies the 1 per cent of all breast cancer diagnoses in the United States who are men.
