The almost simultaneous launch of the facelifted Mondeo and Territory ranges marks the end of an era for Ford NZ: the Ghia insignia is no more.
All of the brand's top-line models will now be wearing the Titanium designation as in Europe.
Ghia was an Italian automotive design company bought out by Ford in 1970.
The first Blue Oval models to wear the badge appeared in 1973 in Europe.
Shame it's gone because retro is in: Cortina Ghia now sounds really cool again.
Wave goodbye to Ghia
