Convicted double murderer Scott Watson was placed in solitary confinement after two recent attacks on fellow inmates, including one in which he hurled faeces.
The incidents took place recently at Christchurch Men's Prison, where Watson is serving a minimum 17 years for the 1998 murders of Olivia Hope and Ben Smart in the Marlborough Sounds.
