Water watch

There is a busy racing programme for sailors on the Waitemata this weekend, with one big event on the Manukau. Highlights include:

Saturday: Black Heart cruising race to Hobsonville (RAYC); Squadron Round-Rangitoto and classic yachts race (RNZYS); Kohi-Kawau weekend (KYC); Gulf Harbour Brin Wilson 30-miler (GHYC); Devonport cruise (DYC); Brooke Regatta, Narrow Neck (WBC).

Saturday and Sunday: Bucklands Beach Class Regatta (BBYC); Ross 930 Championships, off Bean Rock (PCC); March family trailer yacht cruising series (WTYS): SOCC Regatta, Algies Bay, (Sandspit YC).

Sunday: Round the Bays; Richmond round-Rangitoto, Flap Martinego Memorial (RYC); Kohi-Kawau weekend (KYC); Manukau Memorial Cup (MYMBC).
