* The Lipton Cup, one of the oldest trophy races sailed on the Waitemata by the Ponsonby Cruising Club's mullet boat fleet, will be raced today.

* Sunday: Outrigger canoe race, Birkenhead to Rakino; Ponsonby Summer Series (PCC); Richmond return race from Te Kouma (RYC); Manukau Regatta, Clarks Beach (CBYC); Bucklands Beach Cruising Race 8.
