Watch: Who We Are - Rugby

What makes New Zealand? Is it the people? The landscape? A shared history? Our obsession with rugby?

The Herald wanted to find out. So David Fisher and Mark Mitchell travelled from Bluff to Cape Reinga in a campervan. The resulting series, Who We Are, aims to explain what it means to be Kiwi in 2016.

This is part of a series of mini-documentaries about the themes that unite and - sometimes - divide us.

In it, we focus on our national sport, visiting the oldest rugby club in the country and examining whether it's the same game played at every level.
