It's a holy trio of hipness, with Prada commissioning director Wes Anderson to create a Fellini-inspired short film starring actor Jason Schwartzman.
Set in 1955, the 8-minute clip features Schwartzman as a Prada race car driver who crashes into a Jesus Christ statue in small town Italy - with Anderson's usual nostalgic flourishes as seen in the films The Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom and The Darjeeling Limited.
Called Castello Cavalcanti, it made its debut at the Rome Film Festival this week and follows last year's Prada film project directed by Roman Polanski. Anderson also directed a short film for Prada's Candy L'Eau fragrance earlier this year.
