Unlawful discharges of waste into the stormwater system by businesses in Drury have been found polluting the Manukau Harbour.
Auckland Regional Council officers did a pollution prevention audit of 70 businesses in Drury and discovered 20 per cent had waste such as oxidising agents, food processing washwater and hydrocarbons (oils and fuel) entering the stormwater system.
