Thai protesters have ended their siege of Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport after a court dissolved the country's ruling party and banned the prime minister from politics for five years.
Thai authorities said the airport had reopened for cargo flights but would remain closed to passenger flights until December 15.
Prime Minister John Key last night sent the Air Force to help evacuate New Zealanders from the Thai capital.
