Air New Zealand and Qantas are scrambling to provide extra flights and meet overwhelming demand from Warriors fans desperate to attend Sunday's NRL Grand Final.
Fans took just six minutes yesterday to buy out seats on a chartered Air New Zealand flight to the National Rugby League final in Sydney.
Last night, Air New Zealand said it was adding two extra flights on Saturday, and additional flights back to New Zealand on Monday.
Australian carrier Qantas said it was also offering an extra flight on Saturday.
"Twitter and Facebook have been abuzz today with customers asking for help to get to Sydney - everyone is desperate to be able to be there for the match," said Air NZ group general manager Australasia Bruce Parton.
